Terms of Service

Monocast is a podcast creation platform that lets you record monologue episodes, automatically transcribe and summarize them using AI, and publish them as a podcast via RSS. The Service includes the Monocast iOS app, the web dashboard at monocast.live, and the podcast hosting infrastructure.

• You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
• One podcast per account (for the current version).
• You may not use the Service for any illegal purpose.

• Free plan: 100 minutes of transcription. No credit card required.
• Pro plan: $6/month for 120 minutes of transcription and 1 GB storage.
• Top-up: $3 for an additional 60 minutes.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@monocast.live.

• You own your content. Audio recordings, transcripts, and summaries remain your intellectual property.
• You grant us a limited license to store, process, and distribute your content as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., hosting audio, generating transcripts, serving your RSS feed).
• You are responsible for the content you publish. Do not publish content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on others' rights.
• We may remove content that violates these Terms.

We use AI services to transcribe audio and generate episode summaries. AI-generated content may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and editing AI-generated titles, summaries, and descriptions before publishing.

We strive to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, updates, or experience outages. We are not liable for any loss resulting from Service unavailability.

• You may delete your account at any time.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
• Upon termination, your published content will be removed from our servers within 30 days.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EBD Sweden AB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Stockholm, Sweden.

We may update these Terms. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
